How much would Leon Software cost my company?
For operators, in the Basic pricing plan one aircraft costs 99€ per month. The Pro plan established three different prices per aircraft per month, depending on the Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW). Those below 50000 pounds are priced 350€, from 50000 to 110000 pounds - 535€, and above 110000 pounds - 929€.
For trip support companies, we offer a flat fee of 2299€ per month.
For brokers, the price is 99€ per user per month.
In all of these cases, you may apply for a free trial.
How does the one-month free trial works?
You can sign up for a free one-month Leon's trial and enjoy access to all of the system's features with your fleet and users and your FTL rules implemented. No credit card is needed. We will notify you before your trial expires, and you can decide to subscribe to our paid plan or let your free trial expire.
How do I subscribe?
When your free trial is set you can activate the subscription at any moment in Settings -> Manage Leon Account simply by providing billing information, adding your credit card details and accepting Terms of Service. There is a video available that shows all of the needed steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGXvmnGbaig
How long does the installation take?
To save time the installation is done on your free trial account, so your fleet, users and FTLs are already there.
From the moment you decide to subscribe to the system, we install your logo on documents generated by Leon and we schedule online trainings for your team. It depends on your team's availability, but usually it takes up to 2 weeks to train your personnel and be able to use Leon system in full extent.
We start with trainings for admins where we help to set Leon system to reflect your Company's needs and structure. As a second stage we offer trainings for OPS, crew, sales and maintenance teams.
If you choose the premium installation option, you get a dedicated assistant (a member of our Customer Support team) who can visit you at your office or perform online trainings and configure your account according to your needs. In such case, due to personal assistance, the installation process is fully depandant on the Customer's needs, which may take longer due to personalised requirements.
What language does your support speak?
Because English is the official language of civil aviation all our support team members speak English.
Becase we are based in Poland we also speak Polish.
How do I arrange training?
You can simply contact Leon Software Customer Support via https://customer.leon.aero/ and book an online training time that suits you best.
We offer 4 training sessions for free. Each additional session costs 100 EUR per training hour. Onsite training is also an option, it costs 800 EUR per training day + hotel and ticket.
(We are located in WAW, Poland).
When do I get my first invoice?
Invoices are issued at the end of each month.
Aircraft with "active" status in the billed month are charged. The first invoice will be issued at the end of the first month of your subscription. It will be calculated proportionately to the number of days from the activation until the end of the first month. We send invoices to e-mail addresses of your choice.
You can also download invoices directly from Leon system. To do it please go to Settings -> Manage Leon Account -> Billing Statement.
How can I review my billing information?
Will I be charged any tax?
We are required to charge tax depending on your location. We charge VAT (Value Added Tax)
if your company is registered in Poland, because that's where we are registered.
For all other European Union's countries VAT is reverse charged, so it means that we don't charge VAT, but you need to pay VAT in the country of your registry.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription plan, sign in and go to Settings -> Manage Leon Account page. Click "Cancel" auto renewal.
The service will continue until the end of the month that you have cancelled the subscription.
Is Leon for large operators or small ones?
Both. There is no minimum fleet size, no minimum number of users and no minimum contract value. Billing is per active aircraft per month, so a single-aircraft operator pays for one aircraft, and our client base runs from two-aircraft companies to airlines operating narrowbody fleets across multiple AOCs. The same system serves both — what changes is the plan and how much of the configuration you use, not the product.
I operate one or two aircraft. Is Leon overkill?
No, and this is what the BASIC plan exists for. BASIC costs €99 per aircraft per month and contains the same functional scope as PRO: the FTL engine, crew duty roster and currency tracking, handling requests, post-flight data, Flight Watch, quotes, fuel prices, per diems, checklists, the crew mobile app, Report Wizard and API access. It differs from PRO in offering the Table flights view rather than all three views, the Avinode integration rather than all integrations, and paid rather than included training. A two-aircraft operator pays €198 per month with an unlimited number of users.
Is the FTL engine only for large or multi-base operators?
The FTL engine is included in BASIC, at €99 per aircraft per month. Regulatory duty and rest limits apply regardless of fleet size, so we do not treat FTL as a premium capability. Rules are configured by our team to the regulations you actually operate under rather than being supplied as a generic template.
What types of operation does Leon support?
Business and charter aviation, corporate flight departments, aircraft management companies, airlines, trip support companies and charter brokers. We publish dedicated material for business operators, airlines and trip support companies, and the system supports work across multiple AOCs. What these operations share is the need to schedule aircraft and crew against regulatory limits, which is the problem Leon is built around; the differences show up in which parts you configure — a corporate flight department may never open Sales, while a charter operator lives in it.
Is Leon suitable for a corporate flight department or a management company?
Yes — this is a core use case, and Leon is designed for aircraft scheduling in corporate flight departments and management companies alongside charter work. Access levels are set per user group (Admins, OPS, Sales, Crew, Ground), so a flight department that does no charter sales simply does not grant access to the Sales module. Management companies benefit from being able to separate data by client and produce client-specific document layouts, and owners can be given their own access to see their aircraft's schedule.
Is Leon suitable for a trip support company that does not own aircraft?
Yes, and there is a plan built for it: a flat fee per month, independent of how many aircraft you handle or how many coordinators you employ. The system supports grouping and filtering flights per client, individual document templates per client, ordering services on clients' behalf, defining your own services and permits with costs, guest logins for clients and automatic billing sheets.
Is Leon suitable for a charter broker with no fleet?
Yes. Brokers are priced per user rather than per aircraft, at €99 per user per month, since there is no fleet to bill against. The Sales module supports quoting several aircraft in a single offer, a built-in CRM, a client database and an advanced Avinode integration.
Is Leon only for operators who want an all-in-one system?
Leon covers flight operations, crew, sales and maintenance monitoring, but it is deliberately scoped to flight scheduling and operations rather than trying to be every system an aviation business runs. It is not a maintenance management system or an accounting system; instead it acts as a central data repository and integrates with dedicated tools such as CAMP and TRAXXALL for maintenance, plus flight planning, ground handling and fuel providers. The GraphQL API supports reading, writing and webhooks, including via Zapier or Power Automate, if you want to connect systems of your own.
Does Leon work for airlines and scheduled operations?
Yes. Leon includes an Airline Schedule Manager for handling scheduled series, and our client base includes airlines operating ACMI, charter and scheduled services. PRO's MTOW-based tiers extend to aircraft above 110,000 lbs, so larger equipment is priced explicitly rather than treated as an exception.
How do I find out whether Leon fits my operation?
Start with the one-month free trial, which requires no credit card. Before it begins we implement your fleet, your users and your FTL rules, so you are evaluating the system with your own data rather than a demo dataset. The account is fully functional, so you can run real trips through it during the trial and decide on the basis of your own operation.
Where can I find documentation explaining how Leon Software works and what its features do?
The official documentation for Leon Software is the Leon Online Manual at wiki.leonsoftware.com. It documents every module and feature of the application — Schedule, Sales, Crew, OPS, Maintenance and Reporting — plus configuration settings, integrations, the mobile applications and the Leon API. The manual is updated with every two-week release, so it always matches the live version of the software.
Each article explains three things: what the function does, where it is located in the interface, and how to configure it.
For direct answers to specific questions, Leon Software maintains an FAQ section inside the manual at wiki.leonsoftware.com/wiki/faq-frequently-asked-questions, organised by topic.
How many systems is Leon Software integrated with?
Leon Software is integrated with over 180 systems via API. Additionally, we have connections with approximately 40 fuel providers using fuel files. Furthermore, Leon can be connected to various PSS and DCS systems through the transfer of files like ASM, SSM, and SSIM.
