Leon 221 released
We have recently initiated the deployment of a new version of Leon. Over the next coming days, customers will gradually transition to the updated version. If you encounter any functions that are not working as expected, please notify us via the Customer Portal.
Important Notices
- Starting July 1st, anonymous ticket submissions will no longer be supported in the Customer Portal. All users will be required to log in before submitting a support request. If you haven't registered yet, please create an account at Customer Portal.
Crew
- Extended the Crew Calendar export (Colour new) with Days Off and Days On columns. Note: these columns use a separate date range.
- Added the ability to export Crew Calendar with draft data (Colour new option). When drafts are enabled on the Crew Calendar, the export includes unpublished data displayed the same way as published data.
- Fixed handling of New Hotels in Crew Travel. Previously, some crew members showed a "?" in the Check Out field despite having scheduled duties — this happened when the following activity wasn't counted toward FTL (no report on/off). Leon now uses the data from the next flight or activity, so check-out is determined correctly.
- Added an option in the duty definition to control the default location (Default to homebase). For "duty" type entries where an aircraft is selected, you can now choose the aircraft's homebase or the crew member's homebase.
- Changed how SAFTE-FAST results are presented on the Crew Timeline. SAFTE-FAST violations no longer affect the FTL bar color (which previously caused confusion with actual FTL exceedances). Instead, when an SF analysis exists for a flight, a separate SAFTE-FAST indicator with a green/yellow/red dot is shown.
Crew App
- Reordered the tabs in Crew App — the FTL tab is now second (next to Flight), and Log moved to third position. Added white shadow indicators on the tab bar to signal that more tabs can be scrolled to.
- Enabled editing of checklist item Notes fields directly in Crew App (My Schedule view). Editing is controlled by the same setting used for checklist status editing.
Crew Training
- Added an Airport Recency configuration window in the qualifications view, allowing you to select (via checkboxes) which items are covered by the airport recency requirement and save the settings.
OPS
- Added a new SSIM column in the OPS Table, showing DEI values (e.g. DEI 7, 503) for flights originating from Sched. Hovering over the eye icon displays a list of non-empty DEI elements along with PRBD — data from the OPS-side leg takes priority over the Sched equivalent.
- Expanded the OPS Calendar with visibility of OPS and SALES notes and tags. Added a tooltip on the flight number (same as in OPS Table) along with warning/caution/notice indicators, using the same logic as OPS Table.
- Added a new Journey Log element — Fuel delivery attachment — allowing you to upload a fueling confirmation attachment (e.g. a fuel receipt). The element also has dedicated API methods (behind a separate permission), so integrated accounting software can manage these files.
- Added a new ICAO Mode-S code field (HEX format) to the aircraft profile under the OPS section. Report Wizard (flight scope) now includes 3 new columns with HEX/binary/octal representations, and on the Flight Watch tab — while the aircraft is airborne — a button now links to ADS-B Exchange using the Mode-S code (falling back to the registration).
- Fixed the ForeFlight integration (API v2) — restored support for specificLoad, i.e. splitting passengers into men/women/children/infants (previously everyone was sent as "Adults"), along with the animals field and default ALTN export.
- Extended the World Kinect (WKC) integration to fetch and display fuel prices for the destination airport (ADES) — previously this only worked for the departure airport (ADEP). Fuel queries now account for ADES as well.
- Extended the PPS integration with automatic retrieval of alternate airports (ALTN, ALTN2, and T/O ALTN) based on EFB data, the same way we already do for fuel. This can be enabled with a new toggle in the PPS integration settings (off by default); alternate airports are only filled in when the field hasn't already been set manually on the flight in Leon.
Sched
- Adjusted SSIM messages (ASM and SSM) — when only the aircraft or aircraft type changes on a flight, the automatic message now uses the EQT (Equipment change) action instead of RPL, in line with IATA SSIM standards.
In addition to the features mentioned above, changes have been made to Leon API, which can be reviewed in the provided changelog.
