Leon 222 released

We have recently initiated the deployment of a new version of Leon. Over the coming days, customers will gradually transition to the updated version. If you encounter any functions that are not working as expected, please notify us via the Customer Portal.

Important Notices

  • Starting July 1st, anonymous ticket submissions will no longer be supported in the Customer Portal. All users will be required to log in before submitting a support request. If you haven't registered yet, please create an account in the Customer Portal.

Admin

  • We have updated the process for manually issuing API keys. When creating a key, users are now required to add a description explaining its intended use and to accept the API key terms of use.
  • We have added the ability to automatically mask and delete PAX data from past flights (after a defined period from the flight date) and to restore it. This makes it easier to manage personal data in accordance with the operator's policies. More information here
  • Flight editing section has been renamed to the OPS Settings, and selected settings have been moved to the new layout.

Crew

  • We have expanded the Crew Calendar Excel export (Colour new) with additional data. The document now includes separate sheets for flights and repositioning legs, with basic schedule data (flight number, date, STD, ADEP, ADES, etc.). This gives a more complete picture of crew activity in a single export.
  • A new option called Duty accounts balance has been added in the 'Crew Calendar'. This option is located in the 3-dot filter > Summary columns and allows displaying and hiding the 'Duty account' columns.

Crew App

  • We have restricted the boarding function in Crew App to crew members assigned to the given flight only. Additionally, the boarding option is disabled when a flight is opened from the Schedule view.
  • Handler tags added in Airport Directory are now also visible in Crew App. Crew members can see the handler labels assigned to flights directly in the app.
  • We have improved Crew App stability when the connection is lost. The app now handles connection drops more gracefully — it attempts to reconnect, and if that's not possible, informs the user with a message.

Crew Planning

  • The Crew Pairings feature is now available to all operators by default in BETA version — no separate activation required. More information on Crew Pairings can be found here

Crew Training

  • We have added support for multiple configurations of the same currency type (e.g. night landings and night take-offs). Previously, only one configuration was allowed per type — now multiple can be defined, making it easier to meet various requirements, e.g. when introducing a new fleet. More information here
  • A feedback form link can now be added to a Training duty definition. Training can also be marked as completed directly in Crew App, and a push notification will remind crew to fill in the form. This simplifies gathering feedback after training sessions. More information here
  • We have added a new Rank column next to the crew member's name in the Crew Travel view, showing the highest rating for the aircraft type in the group (e.g. CPT). The column is available in all Crew Travel tabs except Logs.

MX

  • In the MX → Fleet Documents view, we have added the ability to export results to Excel and PDF files. Previously, documents could only be filtered within the view.

OPS

  • We have added a new AC tags column to the OPS Table view, displaying the labels (tags) assigned to the aircraft. This makes fleet labels visible directly from the flight list, at the registration level — without having to open the details. The column can be enabled from the three-dot menu. In the OPS Calendar view, the Aircraft tag is visible under the aircraft registration but only in the Horizontal layout.
  • We have expanded MVT notifications with a new "Missing take off" scenario. If a take-off time is missing for a flight, the system will send a reminder notification to complete the data. The new scenario and message template are configured in MVT Messages settings.
  • In the ForeFlight integration, we added the Send alternates setting, which has changed the Leon to FF synchronisation behaviour: the ALTN field is no longer overwritten. If an operator sets the alternate airport exclusively on the ForeFlight side and the field remains empty in Leon, the synchronisation will not erase the data in FF.

Phonebook

  • We have added a new DUNS number field to the company profile in Phonebook in the ACCOUNTING > SETTINGS tab. The field is indexed and searchable in the main Phonebook view — the search engine finds a company by its exact 9-digit number.
  • We have added duplicate checking during passport scanning. The system will display an orange cautionary triangle by the contact name, and immediately suggest if a given contact may already exist in Phonebook.

Report Wizard

  • We have expanded the Flights scope in Report Wizard with a new Landing & Overflight Permits Country filter. The filter finds flights that have at least one of the selected countries in their landing or overflight permits. The same filter has also been added to the MCP flight search tool.

Sales

  • We have fixed the deletion of airport fees from price lists. Previously, after deletion, the fee disappeared from the list but still appeared when the price list was used in a quote — it is now correctly removed.
  • We have fixed the generation of debitor numbers. We have resolved the issue of duplicate numbers appearing after a contact was deleted and ensured their uniqueness within the operator.
  • We have added the ability to choose which checklist items (Sales and OPS) should be available in documents sent from the Sales module (e.g. Flight Brief). The setting is located in the RFQ edit view, in the checklist tab. More information here

User security

  • We have added the Log out from all devices functionality. More information here

Security

  • The list of events included in the Admin Panel > Audit Logs section has been expanded with new events: creation/modification/deletion of group of privileges, modification of crew ratings. Additionally, an event type filtering option has been added.

Wingman and MCP

  • We have added an MCP tool that returns the schedule change history of dispatched flights. It provides the same changes visible in the trip change history window and allows them to be retrieved by flight number.

In addition to the features mentioned above, changes have been made to the Leon API, which can be reviewed in the provided changelog.
