Global Jet chooses Leon Software for Sales, OPS and Crew management

With over a year of meticulous preparations, Global Jet has gone live with the new software solution, introducing Leon Software as the technology provider for sales, operations and crew management.

With more than 20 years of experience, they always keep innovating to ensure the highest level of safety, quality, and service for their customers. Aligned with this mentality, Global Jet has been looking through the years for a tailored software solution. It’s current dynamic and large fleet requires a customised and automated solution as everything is based on exceptions.

The potential development and improvements of APPS were also an important factor in order to keep the speed ahead of the competition. During the past 1.5 years the Leon team has been weekly developing, adjusting, and improving the system for its current clients and Global Jet. From an advanced subcharter support and crew planning, to a dedicated board for aircraft owners, Leon Software has added nearly three hundreds of custom built features,developing the toolset that meets the top standards of the Geneva-based operator.

Being faithful to the agile methodology utilised at Leon Software, the implementation process has been conducted in biweekly sprints, with meetings taking place at regular 2-week intervals. This approach has guaranteed a smooth transition to the new technology, making sure that the extensive requirement list - a result of months of evaluation - has been implemented thoroughly at Global Jet.

Taking a tremendous effort from all parties involved, from today onwards the Global Jet offices, world-wide, have one charter sales platform. This tool streamlines and centralises into one process the tasks from the different departments involved in booking and executing a flight. This allows the teams to process flight requests and answer questions swiftly with a high level of accuracy. All the offices have direct access to all the flights. This new program enables the sales, crews, and operation teams to be even more reactive towards their clients and by always finding them the best solution regarding their needs.

Same can be said about the owner access. Clients will also have access to the tool to monitor the state of their flights or flight requests, avoiding the need to wait for an answer. “It is great to see the adaptations LEON made in the past 1.5 years with our given inputs, and made the system grow in functionalities, it has more logics in place now and additional features were implemented which facilitate the user tremendously. The different departments now also can share the workload, thanks to the easiness and simplicity of certain tasks and the designed work-flows quite some work-load has been relieved, giving the user more time to spend on the client service part. It takes time to get used to a different system, but with a slow and anticipated introduction we were able to introduce our clients in a step program into the system and take away the little bugs while introducing and are pleased now to be fully working with LEON in Geneva and the satellite offices. With the potential APPs for the owners and development possibilities the Team of Leon have shown in the past year, we are confident to still be able to improve the service to our owners and charter clients in the near and foreseeable future with big steps and are looking forward to developing this for our clients taking their wishes into consideration.” said Bjorn Naberhuis Vice President Business Development at Global Jet.

With the onboarding process already successfully concluded, the development agenda for upcoming implementations will be continued in the near future, including the Apps that are in development and will be the next milestone this year.
