Leon Software integrates Logipad Electronic Flight Bag

Leon Software's integration with Logipad gives flight crews access to relevant updates and centralized flight data in a paperless format, all in compliance with the ARINC 633-2 EFF standard. Information can be exchanged in both directions - delivered to the pilots, but also logged and transferred back to the flight management software - ensuring a seamless flow. More than going paperless, it’s about efficient process management.

Customizable and Connected: Inside Logipad’s Electronic Flight Bag Solution

Logipad's Electronic Flight Bag Solution improves digital flight briefing and cockpit workflows and integrates seamlessly with existing flight operations ecosystem. Its ARINC 633-2 compliant Electronic Flight Folder (EFF) module digitizes briefing data such as flight plans, NOTAMS, weather charts and more, enabling streamlined and paperless processes.

The EFB supports real-time device-to-device communication, automatically detecting nearby pilot devices and selecting the best available connection - online or offline. Background synchronization allows pilots to enter data on any connected device, which is instantly updated on all synchronized units without manual intervention.

The "DIRECT" feature in the flight log allows pilots to mark direct routes and ABEAM values, optimizing fuel and time entries. Completed briefings can be securely signed with user-based electronic signatures (eSignature).

For security, Logipad uses secured authorization for protected access and optional biometric authentication. It also supports partial EFF updates to reduce data usage. Process optimization is achieved through built-in logic checks, data validation and role-based content management, significantly reducing errors. The application is highly customizable to accommodate airline-specific operational manuals, briefing layouts, and back-end data management such as fuel consumption analysis.

Additional features include a content management system with a staging model for secure and role-based information release, comprehensive compliance reporting, document approval workflows, and configurable document validity management.

Secure, Real-Time Data Exchange Between Logipad and Leon Software

The integration between Logipad and Leon Software improves operational efficiency by seamlessly exchanging flight relevant data such as crew, fuel and performance information within a unified digital ecosystem. Leon Software acts as a central hub for all critical operational information, securely transferring essential flight management data directly into Logipad's Electronic Flight Folder (EFF).

This automated synchronization eliminates manual data entry, significantly reducing potential errors and saving valuable crew time.

The data exchange is two-way. Information entered into Logipad by pilots and crew during flights, including fuel consumption, flight times and other operational details, can update and supplement operational reports within Leon Software. This back and forth communication ensures consistent, accurate, and up-to-date documentation in both systems.

Both Logipad and Leon Software maintain strict security standards, ensuring that sensitive operational data is handled securely and protected throughout the synchronization process. This integration enhances workflow, increases cockpit productivity, and strengthens data integrity across all operations.
