Hello Paweł! Let's start with the introduction. Could you give us a brief info about yourself?
Hello, I have been working at Leon since 2007. From the very beginning, I worked on product development. Initially as a backend/frontend developer. Later I also developed my position and became CTO and product owner.
Let's start from the beginning of your adventure as DevOps. Could you tell us more about how it happened?
It is a quite simple story. I was a programmer in Leon and there, one day came up with the opportunity to retrain to DevOps. I've always been close to configuring and operating systems. I installed my first operating system at the age of 10 ;). I was also interested in development environments, as well as task automation in the broadest sense. As you can see, I started very early and after my studies at Politechnika Warszawska and WIT university, my career turned off speed.
Let's start with a few words about yourself.
I’m Adam, and I've been working in Leon for seven years. Now I'm DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer, with a total IT experience of about 15 years. My responsibilities are to keep things running. This includes developing and monitoring cloud infrastructure, building and deploying systems for Leon’s application and some automatizations for developers. And of course, troubleshooting in most complex cases.
